What is assistance good for?
The Small and Big pieces of advice (mostly used when the next useable cell is overlooked) inform you on your next steps. If you really have no clue, the Cheat feature will fill in the cell - of course, it will cost you a small time penalty and some points obtained for already solved Sudoku games.
If there are any wrong solving steps, all three pieces of advice are there to highlight the error or provide a correct value.
What does the Tipping sequence do?
This feature comes with no penalty. Tipping is a common solving technique for which the tipping sequences have been originally created. They may be used to solve even the toughest Sudoku puzzles in the world. If the next steps are not clear, it will separate values you are not sure about since you are just tipping,
including the first tips. More information is available in the program Help - Section Tipping Sequence.
Besides computers and tablets, for which the user interface has been optimized, you can also play on smartphones with greater resolution. The application is supported on computers with more recent browser versions (for example, Chrome, IE 10 and higher, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari...).
